Service Description

Class Experience: Sing, dance, and learn about music from all around the world with your little ones. Ms. Magaly will introduce your child to general music concepts as well as the musical traditions of various Latin American countries, with a focus on Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, and Chile. Instruments are available to use in class. In addition, instrument boxes are available for purchase so a child can make music at home. The instrument box available for purchase will be $39, it includes a guiro, maracas, claves, tambourine, a scarf, a pipe cleaner for pitch exploration exercises, and a Latin American song playlist sheet. Notes About Magaly: Magaly Cordero-Dietz is the owner and primary teacher of Pop-Up Music School. An active performer and educator in Chicago, she has been performing classical music throughout the Midwest for over 15 years and is a proud member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus. In addition to teaching music, Magaly taught Spanish to preschoolers. She previously taught Spanish at Language Stars and also provided Spanish lessons in private homes. she currently assists with the choral music program at Chicago's St. Procopius School. Also, as a daughter of Afro-Dominican and Cuban immigrants, Magaly loves sharing the music of her heritage with her students. Magaly holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from Northwestern University and a Master's degree in Vocal Performance from Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation within 30 days notice required, otherwise no refunds allowed. Rescheduling to a later available date is allowed one time. We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify open play date, time, and duration.
